Security blackspots

 

In 2022, Secure Tech Systems Ltd (STS) completed several projects for a large scale, food production and distribution business.

 

Due to growth and expansion of their facilities at several locations, this customer had a requirement for an upgrade of their current professional security system.

They had been let down by their current security provider, in Kent.

 

STS carried out an initial review of the security cameras already in place.

 

Owing to a recent break in, some blackspots were first identified and immediate work was carried out, with the installation of additional Hikvision security cameras, ensuring 100% coverage of the perimeter of one of their main buildings.

 

This project was complete within 10 working days from their initial enquiry, providing peace of mind for the customer and the assurance they now had a much higher level of protection of their premises and multiple additional deterrents.

 

Upgrade of security cameras

 

Following this work, STS were trusted to initiate the upgrade project of their analogue security cameras. This featured over 40 new security cameras, a mix of turret and bullet style, all Hikvision IP cameras with vari-focal lenses.

 

Some special mounting was required for this installation, so STS worked with the customers' own fabrication department in order for bespoke brackets to be produced.

 

STS liaised directly with the relevant stakeholders, the result being minimal disruption during operational hours. Any work that wasn’t able to be completed during normal working hours was planned and costed for carefully, ensuring minimal downtime and no surprise costs at the end of the project.

These collaborations enabled a smooth running and timely security system project.

 

As with most things in life, security camera maintenance is required, to ensure optimum performance and minimal disruption and STS now provide ongoing security maintenance for this customer, across all of their sites and is now their trusted security supplier, (for all their sites) across Kent.
